Despite my inner fight to avoid reading it just because everyone else did, I've joined the ranks of Twilight Series fans and hoped for the best with this new one, "The Host". Like many of you, I'm no Sci-Fi fan, but she's got me reeled in. This was pretty captivating and I love her writing style. It's no Edward and Bella, but it's one I couldn't put down. I'm going to name drop here and have you know that I was Stephenie Meyer's visiting teacher when we first moved here to Phoenix...we even co-directed a Relief Society play together...here's to her naming one of her characters after me! (fingers crossed)

My Bro-in-law, Michael Gage was engaged to her while he was at BYU. Ring and all. I don't know exactly what happened for for some reason it didn't work out. Mike is now happily married to the girlfriend he had before the Stephenie, Mechelle. He is a pediatrician and has his practice in Hanford (45min from Clovis). They have four children and are close to us. My baby boy, Jet Michael, is named after him. My sister Gwen has read all the twilight books and is now reading another of Stephenie's books. I am not a novel lover and haven't read them.
I'm not surprised at all that you co-directed that play. You amaze me and I think you're so gorgeous and talented! Anybody should be honored to rub elbows with you and drop your name!=)
That's crazy! I just finished book 2 this AM - very good stuff. Ry said he liked the host- but didn't really love it like he did twilight.
You're famous!! I'm reading it right now. I was giddy with the Twilight series and can't wait to see the movie (have you seen the trailer?). Question is: Is Steve your Edward? Sam is totally mine. I always pictured him.
