Let's Talk "Idol"--part 2

So my friend Kelly made a strong comment about the previous article so I am adding a little clarification so that she will still respect me as a singer-- LOL. I WAS a pretty big fan of Jason Castro in the beginning. I feel like his last good performance was "Somewhere over the Rainbow" and then it just got more and more awkward and more and more sad after that. The past month or so, I always felt embarrassed for him as he was singing. It is clear that he is NOT a natural performer, however, I stand by my opinion of his voice. I will love his CD (I hope it's a Jack Johnson type collection of songs--see my playlist--->) and hope that he stays in the recording studio and away from the stage...

David Cook still gets my vote.

I'm with your friend. Castro won't be selling any music to me. I've never been blown away by any of his performances. I'll still be your friends even if you like him though. American Idol and So You Think You Can Dance are my favorite shows. Do you ever watch SYTYCD? Back to American Idol. My personal favorite is David Archuletta. The other David is talented but I don't see myself craving to listen to his music. David A. is such a sweet boy. I hope the world doesn't corrupt him. I secretly hope Kenneth Kope takes hold of him and he can take his talent in that direction. It is so sad when good people get involved with things og=f this nature with great intentions but fall because of it.

I completely agree! GO DAVID COOK!

Remember your long lost cousin from Fresno? Haven't seen you for ages...the kids are adorable!

I'm so excited for tomorrow night!! It will be fun either way. I was bugged J.C. made it to final four instead of Brooke White, but let's talk about Syesha. Not a very strong voice, not unique and she made it to the top 3?!?! I also loved that everyone else in the top five could play instruments as well. It just showed how well rounded they are musically. Thank goodness So You Think is going to be on starting Thursday to fill the void.
