Happy New Year!

We know how to ring it in right:

On the Eve, we did all of our usual traditions:  Fancy dinner (though this year, the missionaries joined us), toasted and cheersed and clinked with Martinelli's,  roasted marshmallows in the backyard and made S'mores, did sparklers and poppers, and stayed up late and watched a movie.  Then today on New Year's we made these delicious sugar snowflakes from my new Christmas gift, HERE. Thanks, Charlotte!

I agree, the Christmas parade is magical. I still remember fighting the tears when it began snowing and Santa interacted from the float with Summer as a toddler.

We had our first trip to Disney World scheduled for this month, but decided after going home for the holidays it wasn't in the budget. Too bad we, like you, spent our holidays with the stomach flu. /:

Happy you can hop back in the car and continue the magic next week. Loved their reactions!
