The end

I finished it last night! (As difficult as it was, I tried to only read when my kids were sleeping which means my hubby didn't get a lot of quality time with me this week!) I tried to read really slowly as I got toward the last few pages because I didn't want it to end--yet, the jury is still out on if I liked it or not. I think I did...It was just such a different book than the others. Um, who wants to talk about this with me??? How intense was this thing?! After "Book Two", I had to close the book, take a deep breath, and prepare for the rest--if you've read it, you know what I mean. Seriously, this girl can write! Well, now I can get on to more productive living and actually spend time with my husband...until she comes out with another book, that is.

I just finished Breaking Dawn Yesterday- I started on Saturday. Don't ask what my house looks like!

I'm not sure what I think. I loved the series. I loved that she got pregant and had the baby. I totally didn't see that one coming!

I was about two pages into the chapter where it was from Bella's point of view again before I had this feeling that Jacob had imprinted on Reneesme and I was right! That was an interesting twist. I liked how that made it okay for Bella and Jacob to be friends. I wasn't sure how that was going to turn out.

I liked the happy ending because I had a huge lump in my throat when Bella was saying good-bye to her baby. I almost couldn't stand it!

I just felt like the ending was rushed or not as well thought out or something. I don't know- maybe it was th lack of fighting in the end... I can't put my finger on it. Maybe it was just a typical happily ever after ending in a book that was nothing at all typical.

I think the series was brilliant though! She is such a talented writer. She did such a good job of switching voices in the Jacob chapters! I loved the emotions she brought into the story. Sometimes I felt all sweet and mushy and the next second, almost holding my breath and wanting to know what happens next.

I hope the movie can do the book justice!

Just finished it yesterday. And might I add that I LOVED it! I am suprised that people were not sure if they loved it or not. I am all about happy endings and I thought for sure they would all die, otherwise how could the series end? So, I was pleased as punch that everyone was happy and it all worked out, even for Jacob. But I was not feeling the baby's name!
