Here's a rewind to just hours before Gavin made his appearance.
Happy Birthday big boy! He was 3 weeks early, but still a nice hefty fella. I love you Steve. Thank you for the ice chips and for letting me crush your hand for a few hours :)
Somehow we managed to collect everyone on the bed for a quick family photo before Preston started running around the room, pushing the nurse call button and eating the nasty hospital food off my tray.
And then there were four. Paige, Trevor, and Preston just adore their new brother. We are so thankful for our kids and for our sweet new arrival. He fits right in with all the chubby-cheeked-cherubs!

Congratulations! Gavin is adorable! 3 weeks early and he weighed 8 14? That is amazing. Good thing he was early! You all look wonderful. We are so happy for you!

Wow! I remember the days when our young families had only one daughter each . . . but it's been nothing but boys ever since.

What cute cherubs! I love that you used that word! You look fabulous before and after delivery! What a good looking family! No go get some rest...does that happen with 4 kids? I'm due with # 3 in April and am wondering how it's all going to work!

What a beautiful baby boy! Your entire family is darling, and I'm sure the children are ecstatic to finally have this baby here (and you probably feel the same way!). I am always in awe when I see 4 children all piled up on a hospital bed - for some reason it seems so much more than 3, but maybe that is because it seems we have just figured out how to handle 3, and so the thought of 4 is a bit daunting, and yet exciting whenever that right timing will be. Congratulations - I'm excited to read about how life will be, 'now there are 4'! :)

Congrats Lis! I am jealous you had him so early (and he's a good size!!!) and I'm still hanging in here with a big belly. One more cutie to add to the clan.
Hey Hot Momma to YOU! It is so fun to see your family! Beautiful Bunch! I'd be lying if I said I was surprised. I have a sister-in-law (bretandjulie.com) in Flag Staff, AZ. Her husband is an accountant there.
